Sepia tinted postcard of Alamo Center School on D Avenue west of 6th Street, Alamo, Michigan. View shows the front exterior of a white building with gable roof with stairs leading to it entrance. The school has a bell tower and flag pole on the roof. The building has a stone foundation and white clapboard siding. In front of the building is a water pump. Behind the school is a one-story building that may be part of farm located behind the school. A labeled on the photograph reads: "Alamo High School, Alamo, Michigan". The building was erected in 1873, and continued to be used as a classroom even after it was annexed into Otsego school district in 1957. It was used as a home for many years, but later was destroyed by fire 22 June 1992.
