When the national convention of the American Institute of Banking met in Grand Rapids in 1939, the planners posed in front of tthe Pantlind Hotel.. Nineteen women all wearing the same hats, dresses, and blazers pose in front of the Pantlind Hotel. All wearing badges with ribbons with "Women's" and some with more specific designations: "Registration," "Publicity and Press," and " and "Public Speaking."
