Black-and-white photograph of bankers working in the basement Computer Room of American National Bank, 101 East Crosstown Parkway and South Burdick Street, Kalamazoo, Michigan. The photograph was taken at or soon after the bank branch's grand opening on June 13, 1964. View shows a two men working with data processing equipment. A manufacturing plate on the right equipment reads: IBM [146X?]. Both men are wearing suits. Neither are identified. In the foreground is a cabinet and a cart holding what appears to be data processing tape. A label on the cabinet reads: Scratch Tapes. The photograph was taken by Joseph Schiavone. The building was later demolished in 2023.
