Three players each posing with a ball. According to local sports researcher Bob Schichtel, this is a picture of three of the best Grand Rapids area players of the 1940's. All three were graduates of Grand Rapids Christian between 1938 and 1945, From left to right, George Worst, Marv Bylsma, and Gene Broene. They were members of the dominant Pastoor Ford team in the Grand Rapids Recreation League in the late forties.
