According to local sports researcher Bob Schichtel this is a midseason promotional picture of Head Coach Wes Perrin and the 1950 Comstock Park Panthers. The Panthers are: back row, left to right, Mickey Martin, Lee Barnett, Merle Clapp, Terry Burns, and D. Clark. Front row: Bud Magee, Kay Weeda, Dave Post, Martin VanDyke and Jack Boukma. Coach Perrin would eventually become the Principal of Grand Rapids Central High in the 1970’s.
