According to local sports researcher Bob Schichtel, these Winters and Crampton sponsored teammates #42 Harris Schrotenboer, #47 Don Delaney and #38 Earol Cheyne were chosen on the ten player 1947 Independent All-City Basketball team as sponsored by the City Public Recreation Department and the YMCA. Players would often play for multiple teams. Delaney received 84 of 88 points for team inclusion.
