According to local sports researcher Bob Schichtel these Thomasma sponsored teammates #99 Chuck Bult, #44 Al Bielema and #15 Henry Scholten were chosen as part of an 1947 Independent All-City ten player team in leagues that were part of the City Department of Public Recreation and the YMCA.
