Description:
Players are mid court. According to local sports researcher Bob Schichtel, Calvin College #26 Elmer Walcott dribbles past the defense of Grand Rapids Junior College #3 Charles Zeitter and #13 Tom Greenhoe. GRJC, a two year institution, often played against local four year schools. In addition, Elmer Walcott is a member of the Muskegon Sport's Hall of Fame, and the Michigan Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame. He also served the city of Muskegon as a commissioner and as mayor.
