Other players visible include BP #99 Howard Elzinga, PA #55 Joel Worst, and PA #99 Chuck Bult. Besteman would defeat Pastoors 46-40 in front of an overflow crowd of 1600 at Burton Gym. Over 600 people were turned away. Howard Elzinga is in the Central Michigan University Hall of Fame for football, basketball, baseball and track excellence. He was a coach in West Michigan and in the Bay City area.
