According to local sports researcher Bob Schichtel pictured is Herman Van Faasen, #11 Thomasma Brothers sponsored team. He was one of ten players chosen to the first honor squad of the Independent Recreation Leagues run by the Department of Public Recreation and the YMCA. According to the Herald his nickname was "Fuzz." He was also a very highly regarded player at Calvin College as well.
