After the 1786 painting by John Trumbull, "Death of General Warren at the Battle of Bunker's Hill, 17 June 1775." Colonists and British soldiers, some holding flags, clash with swords and muskets. A dying Colonist lies supported by another, while a third attempts to fend off the advancing British.
