Burnt First Baptist Church
Description:
1937 photograph of an unidentified man and the damage done by a February 19 fire to the first Baptist Church at the corner of Cross Street and Washington Street, across the street from the Ypsilanti Firehouse. 83,000 bricks were reclaimed by members to be used in the new building built at 1110 West Cross Street. The Geer-Logan Funeral Home was then built at this location.
