Bird's-eye view of the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition buildings and fairgrounds in 1876 based off of sketches and photographs of the area taken from a hot air balloon.; Prominent exhibition buildings (such as the Spanish and Japanese Govt. buildings, Machinery Building, Main Exhibition Building, Horticultural Hall, U.S. Government Ex. Building and the Women's Pavilion), bodies of water, bridges, railroads and other landmarks including Fairmount Waterworks, Lemon Hill Tower, Girard College and the city of Philadelphia in the background have all been individually labelled.
