Wide view of the Culver Military Academy band seated at attention. View features four rows of musicians seated and holding their instruments. Two members stand in the back next to percussion instrumnets. At the front of the band stands the instructor. In the background is a gallery and chandelier lighting. The photograph was taken for Curtis and the Culver Military Acadmy between December 10 and 13, 1940. The photograph was printed in the 1941 school yearbook, Roll Call, the band members are identified. Note: There is a texture on parts of the negative that were not part of the original photograph. This does not minimize the value of the imagery.
