East Michigan Avenue in 1960s
The Kluwe House stood on north side of US-12 between the Volz House and Kluwe Tavern and Truck Stop. House and tavern were on or next to the last Leutheuser Restaurant site. It later became Arbor Drugs and then CVS Drugs in 2000.; The red car visible in the lower part of the photo is a Volkswagon Beetle with a 1968 Michigan license plate.
