Black-and-white copy print of large class standing or sitting in front of Hurd School at north side of M43 between 7th and 9th Streets, Michigan. Though none of students are identified, Grace Butler was the teacher from 1930-1949. Although it was commonly referred to as Hurd School, it is called Chamberlin [Chamberlain?] School on the 1916/18 Kalamazoo Quadrangle topographic map.
