According to a Kalamazoo Gazette article, August 8, 1943, employees of the Jolly Kids Garment Manufacturing Company, with their families and friends, meet for the second annual picnic at Summer Home on Long Lake. The activities included a softball game played between Kalamazoo Jolly Kids Togs and Belding Jolly Kids Togs.
