J. Feuerbacher Blacksmith Shop
Pictured is John Feuerbacher in front of his blacksmith shop about 1930. This is located at the present location of the Carquest Auto Parts business at 406 N. Ann Arbor Street. John Feuerbacher came to Saline from Nagold, Germany in 1870 at the age of 18.; Behind building was a second business of buying and selling scrap iron. When enough was purchased it was then sold and was loaded onto railroad cars, which were directly to the south of the business. The rail depot is still in the same location as always.; House to the left was his house and is now owned by Miss Betty Ormsby.
