Dickinson (piano) who is listed in the 1894 city directory as a music teacher boarding at 213 Oak Street; Miinnie Wilber (pipe organ) sho boarded at 221 Summit; Nora C. Babbitt (voice), later Nora Harsh, longtime resident of Ypailsnt and daughter of Judge and Florence C. Babbitt, voice coach and teacher for many years; Oriska M. Worden (voice); Avonia Dawson(?) (piano); Abba Owen (violin), daughter of Tubal Cain Owen and Ann Foote Owen and granddaughter of Ezra Foote, first professor of music at Michigan State Normal, Abba (1872-1941) later headed the violin department at Michigan State Normal and then taught many years at the University School of Music in Ann Arbor; Bertha Day, a teacher who boarded at 324 Forest Avenue; and Gerogia M. Cheshire (piano) who boarded at 517 Cross Street.
