Description:
Milton Caniff, who draws the comic strip "Terry and the Pirates," peers from the co-pilot's cockpit in a Ford-built Liberator after drawing the face of his Dragon Lady on the side of the bomber. Mr. Caniff visited the Willow Run bomber plant December 9, 1943.
