Colored, pen and ink map of a province of colonial Peru identifying towns and/or parishes.; Block of text provides additional information on the province.; Drawing at lower right shows figure of a native warrior with a basket of produce.; Possibly a contemporary copy of a map from a group of “Mapas de la Intendencia de Cuzco” sent by the governor of Cuzco, Benito Mata Linares, to Spain with a letter dated 24 November 1786. Original in the Archivo de Indias, Seville.
