The photograph was taken at the bank branch's grand opening on June 13, 1964. View shows a portion of the Community Room where five people are sitting on chairs drinking coffee and eating. Three older women are wearing dresses; and the younger woman, pregnant, is wearing capris and sitting next to her husband, who wears an embroidered shirt and jeans. View includes a floral arrangement on the floor and a poster displayed on an easel. The poster reads: Community Room. A room set aside for use by local clubs and other groups and organizations. Furniture and utilities are fully provided for carrying on meetings and other activities. A schedule is maintained by this offices' management. In the background is decorated wallpaper featuring buildings from Williamsburg, Virginia. The photograph was taken by Joseph Schiavone. The building was later demolished in 2023.
