Pere Marquette Railroad Bridge
Description:
The only swing bridge left on Grand River just north of Wealthy St. A side view of a bridge of open iron work on a flat bed supported on cement pilings. Five sections of varying length are shown in the photo. One section consists of only one taller teepee-like peak. The bridge is nicely reflected in the still water beneath. In the foreground are some rickety wooden pilings. In the background some buildings can be seen through the bridge structure.
