St. Philips Episcopal Church
Description:
John Burgess: "this is the church where I was baptized, confirmed, ordained, and had my first church." St. Philips Episcopal Church was first organized as a mission church in November 1911. The Burgess family, especially John's mother, Ethel Burgess, was very involved.
