Wealthy Street Baptist Church

Wealthy Street Baptist Church at the northeast corner of Wealthy and Eastern SE, is a huge, three-story building that resembles a civic building rather than a church, built in 1912. Lettering on the cornerstone is "Wealthy Street Baptist Temple." The congregation moved from this building in 1982. The 2011 city directory shows that Community Bible Baptist Church occupies the building.
